Protecting Confidentiality
Premature disclosure to employees, competitors, customers, suppliers, lenders, etc. could disrupt the Company and have a detrimental effect on its value. Generating Greater Buyer Exposure
The key to finding the "right-buyer" and getting a
fair market price for a business is maximum exposure to qualified
buyer/prospects. A business sold with limited exposure to the market (i.e.
dealing with only one or two prospects) will probably not yield a fair
